COVID-19 E REPERCUSSÕES EXTRA-PULMONARES: MANIFESTAÇÕES CARDIOVASCULARES E NEUROLÓGICAS EM PACIENTES DE ZERO A 19 ANOS

Resumo

Objetivo: Identificar na literatura científica as manifestações cardiovasculares e neurológicas em crianças e adolescentes com COVID-19. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados Medline/PubMed, LILACS, Web of Science, Scopus; Cochrane e Cinahl. A seleção dos estudos foi feita de forma independente por dois pesquisadores. A coleta de informações baseou-se em um instrumento criado pelos autores contendo informações sobre a caracterização do estudo, método utilizado pelos autores, principais resultados e conclusões. A apresentação dos resultados foi feita de forma descritiva. Resultados: Foram identificadas 4431 produções, dessas 75 compuseram esta revisão. As manifestações cardiovasculares mais relatadas nos artigos foram: insuficiência cardíaca (37,5%) dilatação/ectasia de artérias coronárias ou aneurisma (27,5%) e taquicardia (27,5%); e as principais manifestações neurológicas foram: convulsões (45,2%), cefaleia (40,3%), encefalite/encefalopatia (30,6%) e Hemorragias/AVC (30,6%). Conclusão: Os profissionais de saúde que atuam na linha de frente na pandemia da COVID-19 precisam conhecer estas manifestações cardiovasculares e neurológicas e suas possíveis complicações para que medidas precoces sejam tomadas de forma efetiva.
